We had our second speed mentoring session before we left for Passover vacation. In around 15 minutes, we talked with each mentor individually, explained and presented our app, asked questions, and got some feedback.
We have collected great suggestions for improving our app:
Onboarding, add image.
Add text at the bottom with linkable logos.
one of the essential elements inside the app is the words we're using. As a result, we decided to have a meeting with Pamela Kanner who specializes in UX writing in order to improve our phrases and make them become more friendly and effective for our users.
Text feedback:
Change the word "בואי" (Hebrew) to "buoy" (English).
First names than last names.

This week and during Passover Hadar had Reshef, our computer science students have been working on the chat itself. they have started creating both the front and the back end of the chat feature. This is the essence of our POC and was our main focus during Passover. The chat is been built on the Firebase database and you can read all about it on our website. At the same time, they worked on the front end of the app, mimicking the designs.
