During the interview process and after interviewing postpartum depression experts, we found 3 major issues:
1. The process of women being diagnosed with postpartum depression is flawed and lacking.
2. Men also suffer from postpartum depression and people don't know about this knowledge at all.
3. Enormous need for supporting community environment that helps women and men alike.
In light of these issues, we went out to interview a number of women who experienced postpartum depression in order to find out if the problems raised by the experts are consistent with those women who experienced postpartum depression a central goal to focus on during our project this year.
"The main thing is not to be alone"
This week we'll need to interview 4-6 potential end-users. We thought it would not be easy to find women who would be willing to talk about such a difficult and personal topic as postpartum depression. surprisingly, we managed to find a large number of people Through social media who are willing to share their stories and open their hearts.
