What does Speed mentoring look like?
Four-speed mentoring sessions took place this week. We are grateful for the mentors who listened to our ideas and shared their insights with us. during the sessions, one of our mentors asked us a question that made us rethink our idea - "Did anyone feel good when he saw the heavy traffic and the huge number of people on the road?" - she told us about an article that proved people feel more lonely when they look at images like maps instead of human faces.
We learned from another mentor that technology can evoke real feelings in people - and we should take that into consideration in our app. We changed our scenario after that and we talked to more end-users in order to try to understand what they do when they are breastfeeding the baby in the middle of the night. We found that most mothers use their phones to pass the time. According to the articles, we are now imagining our app differently than last week, we want to use features that will make the user feel more positive emotions while using it.
Next week we are going to structure the code architecture, and we can't wait for that!
